Editorial policy
Lasting Daily Bulletin aims to make its articles clear, useful and careful about what they can reasonably claim. We explain our reasoning, avoid presenting opinion as fact and make meaningful corrections visible.
Accuracy and scope
We check factual statements against suitable references before publication and review wording for clarity, especially where materials and methods differ. We do not claim that one approach suits every object. Where an article cannot establish the condition of a particular item, it says so and avoids substituting a general explanation for an individual assessment.
Independence
Editorial choices are made for the reader's interest and the publication's subject, not to guarantee a favourable mention. A commercial relationship does not determine an editorial conclusion. We do not invent tests, personal experience, credentials or sources to make an article sound more authoritative.
Corrections
If a reader identifies an error, send the article title, the passage in question and any helpful context through the Contact page. We assess reports, correct verified mistakes and clarify material changes in the article. Questions of taste or disagreement may not require a factual correction, but they can still help us improve an explanation.
Partners and illustrations
Paid or partner material is identified clearly where it appears, so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that applies, the image is labelled. Illustrations are not presented as evidence that an object was tested or a repair was carried out.
Use well. Keep thoughtfully.
Belongings earn their place through use, not novelty. Lasting Daily Bulletin looks at ways to care for what is already at hand and make considered choices when something no longer serves.
